I'd like to expose a port on my OS X host to a running container. This is necessary in my workflow because I'm using Aptible; the only way to access my private Aptible database is via the aptible db:tunnel command which creates an SSH tunnel and exposes the database via a port on my host. I'd like to access this host port from within a running container. Is it possible to make the host Mac's GPU available to a Docker container on Docker-for-Mac, i.e., so that it shows up in /dev/gpu.? Installing nvidia-docker on macOS with linux container. Linux container can access the host nvidia card or not? With Docker for Mac, you have a new, native virtualization system. Then you need some method for PCI passthrough the GPU card from host OS to VM OS client. However, the only way to make this is use Nvidia VirtualGPU. Expose host gpu to docker container on mac. One workaround, mentioned in 'Bind container ports to the host' would be to use -P:(or -publish-all=true false) to docker run which is a blanket operation that identifies every port with an EXPOSE line in the image’s Dockerfile or -expose commandline flag and maps it to a host port somewhere within an ephemeral port range. The docker port command then needs to be used to inspect. We wanted Docker for Mac to behave as much like native Linux as possible, so the docker CLI connects to /var/run/docker.sock and ports are also exposed on the host so-p 127.0.0.1:80:80 means expose on localhost only-p 80:80 means expose on 0.0.0.0 on the host (i.e. All interfaces).
