Version 1.6.2 is now available in your user account for download.
The Studio One Pro and Studio One Artist 1.6.2 update has the following enhancements:
- Browser navigation speed improved
The Studio One Pro and Studio One Artist 1.6.2 update fixes the following issues:
- Rare crash when using the preview player
- Japanese translation errors
- Tempo map in MIDI export is not correct
- [Mojito] Hanging notes and crackles can occur
- [Pipeline] Clip Led could not be reset
- [Pro EQ] Micro view is not updated correctly
- Crash when dragging FX chain and instrument preset to empty mixer
Also worth noting is that saving is now possible in the Demo version. MP3 Export and CD burning are still disabled, but the demo is otherwise fully functional.

1.6.1 and now 1.6.2 are working well. The CPU buss bug is now fixed as far as I can tell and that's great. And the plug-ins that were requiring 6x their usage in other DAWs now use the same amount of CPU as the other DAWs. These improvements made a major difference. I really appreciate this update.
I recently purchased Analog Channel Native AU. The GUI updates well in Logic and Digital Performer. But in Presonus Studio One, which is my main DAW, it doesn't update reliably. The gain reduction bar constantly flickers and doesn't display gain reduction as it does in Logic and DP.
Also, the GUI resets to the default parameters when you close a project file and reopen it. Actually, the plug-in remembers whatever changes you made to parameter values in the saved file, but Closing and reopening the GUI window several times or turning it on and off makes the instance 'remember' and display your altered settings.
The same thing can happen during a session. The GUI 'forgets' what settings you have on an instance and appears to reset to default settings. Closing and reopening the GUI window several times or turning the plug-in on and off makes the instance 'remember' and display your altered settings.
I notified McDSP about this. Hopefully you guys can check it out.

THANK YOU! Especially for the new event naming/numbering feature -- this is one of the features I couldn't really live without in working on huge projects, and this addition will enable me to use S1 rather than another DAW on more occasions. Would like to see more flexibility added to the tool, but this one is pretty big for me.

The update is working well for me. I have noticed the improvement in browser speed.
Also, the Behringer controllers are working better than ever. I am sure there will still be some little gremlins here and there, but StudioOne is getting closer to being THE MOST intuitive music app today. Keep up the good work.

After updating to this latest version, I ca no longer find the 3rd party plug-ins. Please help..

When I opened Logic Pro, All those plug-ins that are missing are sitting pretty there..including the guitar rig and kore player which are supposed to be for studio one.

System specs in your sig usually help.
If you're on Win Vista or 7, are you still running on admin privileges?
Other than that, check the folder/location settings within Studio One. Maybe they were lost while updating.

i currently have studio one and the software was 1.6.1. it said i can download the new one and when i click the upgrade software it asks for the product key and i put the product key of the studio one artist in and it says it has already been registered. i already registered it but how do i get the update to 1.6.2? i want to be able to save songs

@ RobErnst44: you don't need to upgrade - just update Download the entire software file in the 'my software' section of the registration site. Install and there it is.

Updated to 1.62 and opened up some old projects from October that I need to finish.
To my surprise some punch-ins were missing and some files were moved and out of sync.
Did a XP system restore back to 1.6.0.13233 and everything is back to normal.
What’s up with that?
